Dr. Rodabaugh is currently the consulting expert and expert witness for the Michigan Education Association on indoor air quality issues.

Inspecting and producing a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) for an industrial fire involving the release of large amounts of cyanide within the facility. Areas of the facility were found to contain up to 82% cyanide. Level A protection was specified for all entrants and cleanup contractors.

Conducting IAQ investigations of an elementary school located adjacent to a wood-burning power-generating station. High levels of lead and arsenic were found in the ventilation system of the school. Students are undergoing testing for blood lead levels.

IAQ evaluation of two residential structures with 8 foot basements, but a 6 foot water table. Constant water intrusion was unavoidable due to water table and lack of drainage. Contractor refunded the purchase price of both structures to the owners.

IAQ evaluation of flooding medical center with resultant health impacts to occupants. Litigation was successful.

Investigation for building code (UBC) violations in construction activities and associated injuries. Several investigations have been undertaken pending litigation. All litigation has been successful for the clients represented.
